On June 20, 2018 our own Wessylyne Kaye Mitchell was awarded for meritorious service at the National Congress of Christian Education annual meeting. Kaye is the Assistant Endorser for chaplains serving in all branches of the military and other organizations such as hospitals. We salute Kaye and her husband Dr. Nevalon Mitchell, Jr. for their tireless service, commitment and dedication to community service.
Kaye is the mother of Kim Smith; Daughter of Sunshyne & Fenton French; Granddaughter of Emily & Wesley Dow Alford; and G/Granddaughter of Matthew Solomon Alford.
