Celebrating Graduate Dr. Naomi Kaʻae Tachera

Join us in joyfully celebrating Dr. Naomi Kaʻae Tachera! On May 3, 2025, Dr. Tachera proudly graduated from Chaminade University, earning her Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership for Adaptation and Change, with a concentration in Indigenous and Educational Leadership. She continues to make an impact as a Board-Certified Behavioral Specialist and Instructor at the University of Hawaiʻi. We honor her incredible achievement and the legacy she’s building through education, leadership, and cultural empowerment

Naomi is the wife of Eric Tachera. Eric is the son of Gary Wayne Tachera and Janice Thomas; Grandson of Willie “Cracker” Alford and Alice Tachera-Larimer; and Great-Grandson of Lafayette “Fate” Alford & Virginia “Jennie” Avance-Alford.
