Arizona Corporation Commission Sandra Kennedy

In this season of negative and divisive political news, let us applaud the astounding number of political firsts for our country. Congress now has its first Native American woman, Muslim woman and youngest female member ever. Likewise, a record number of women of color are being sworn into the House of Representatives this year.

We also celebrate the reelection and Swearing-in of our own, Commissioner Sandra Kennedy who was voted

on November 14, 2018. The inauguration ceremony will take place at the Arizona Capitol in Phoenix at 10:00am on Monday, January 7, 2019. You can view a live stream of the inauguration: https://www.azcentral.com/story/news/politics/arizona/2019/01/07/watch-live-inauguration-ceremony-state-capitol/2486143002/

Sandra has had a career of political and public service. She served as a member of the Arizona state senate from 1992 to 1998 and in the Arizona House of Representatives from 1986 to 1992. This will be her second term serving as the Arizona Corporation Commissioner, previously holding the office from 2008-2012. We are extremely proud of her accomplishments.

Sandra Kennedy is the daughter of Doll Bly; Granddaughter of Charlie Alford; G/Granddaughter of Wesley Alford and G/G/Granddaughter of Matthew Solomon Alford.
