March Madness fans cheered on our own Daniel Marshall who is the Director of Basketball Performance at the
University of Rhode Island. After defeating Virginia Commonwealth University in a 70-63 win, they were the Atlantic 10 conference champs. The RHODY Rams trampled the Creighton Bluejays in 84 – 72 win in Sacramento. Sadly, the Eleventh seeded Rams fell in a nail-biting 72 – 75 loss to the Oregon Ducks who advanced to the Sweet 16.
Daniel Marshall is the son of Debbie Tibbs-Collins, Grandson of Joe Tibbs, G/Grandson of Troy Tibbs, G/G/Grandson of Matthenia “Emma” Coffey, and G/G/G/Grandson of John Henry Coffey.
He is also the husband of Dominique Marshall and dad of adorable Gianna Marshall with one on the way. He is also the nephew of John Tibbs and William Tibbs.
