College Grad Ayanna Spivey

We are extremely proud of Ayanna Spivey who graduated with a Master’s of Science in Higher Education Leadership and Student Development from California Baptist University on May 7, 2017.

Ayanna states, “I plan to continue working in Higher Education and expanding my nonprofit (We Are Educated), that raises money for HBCU students. I will later pursue a PhD in Education or some variation of Ethnic/Cultural studies in hopes to one day move toward the faculty route, ultimately working my way up to a senior administrative position at an HBCU.” With her drive and determination, we know this goal is well within her reach. Congratulations Ayanna!

Ayanna is the daughter of Lisa Remson; Granddaughter of Celestine Remson Alford & Wylie Remson; and G/Granddaughter of Claud Belva Alford.
