Mourning Wesley Melvin Jennings

It is with great sadness that we share news that was recently received about a loved one that we lost a short time ago. Wesley Melvin Jennings – 74 of Spencer, OK, passed peacefully March 25, 2020. He was born December 25, 1945 in Hughes County, OK to the late Carl Jennings Sr. and Sophia Eddington.

Wesley was an entrepreneur. First, he owned an Art and Frame Supplies Store and then an Auto Body Collision Shop. He also worked as a Respiratory Therapist. Wesley also had God giving gifts, such as he was a fantastic artist and could build hotrods, could play the guitar and he was a very intelligent father.

He is survived by his loving Children: Monica, Angela, and Ashley; Sisters, Shirley, Glenda (Booker), and Linda; Brothers, Carl Jr. (Barbara), Adrian (Lois), and Chuckie (Marjorie); and grandkids, Potinjial, Kuprice, Makaiah, Ayanna, Antoine, and Lloyd; and many nieces and nephews and good friends.

A private service was held on Friday, April 3rd at 3:00 PM and Saturday, April 4th at 10:00 AM in the Chapel at Corbett Funeral and Cremation, 807 W Wilshire Blvd, Oklahoma City.

Wesley is the son of Carl Namon Jennings Sr. & Sophia Eddington; Grandson of Effie & Anderson Jennings; and G/Grandson of Matthew Solomon Alford & Lucy A. Berry.
