Our family mourns the loss of another loved one. Dwight Matthew Roberts passed suddenly at his home on Thursday, May 7, 2020. He was 66 years old.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Robin Johnson Roberts; daughter, Dré Martina Roberts (Ricky Owens) son, Dwight Matthew Roberts II (Princess Davis); two grandchildren Avery Walker Roberts and Jécin Olivia Owens; an aunt, Victoria Rockwell Baxter (Robert); four siblings, Deborah A. Dixon (Jimmy); Martha L. Powell; Raymond C. Roberts (Cynthia) and Emmett R. Roberts (Anita) and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and long-time friends.
A viewing will take place on Monday, May 18, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Chinn-Baker Funeral Home, 2605 Shirlington Road, Arlington, VA. The family respectfully requests that you follow the social distancing guidelines at the funeral home.
Dwight's interment will be at National Memorial Park, 7482 Lee Highway, West Falls Church, VA in a private graveside ceremony. You may visit his burial site on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 after 2:10 p.m.
