The YWCA Tulsa announced Brenda Alford as one of this year's Pinnacle Awards Community Service honorees.
Brenda is a descendant of Tulsa Race Massacre survivors and now serves on committees dedicated to commemorating and educating on the history surrounding the massacre. Brenda was celebrated with other honorees at this year's Pinnacle Awards, on March 31 at Cox Business Convention Center.

Brenda Alford is the wife of the late Romeo J. Alford, Jr. Romeo is the son of the late Romeo J. Alford, Sr. & Louise Swain Alford; grandson of Wesley Dow Alford & Emily Dunlap Alford; and G/Grandson of Matthew Solomon Alford.
