The Alford family mourns the loss of Homer David Salton. He was born in Boley, Oklahoma on March 3, 1927. Homer passed away on February 7, 2021, at the age of 93.
Homer was a longtime resident of Wichita, Kansas where was beloved member of his neighborhood and community for more than 44 years. He had a career as an aircraft machinist and retired from Beech Aircraft.
Left cherishing his memory and legacy are his wife, Vira Lee Salton; daughters, Doris Salton-Moore, Paulette Moore, Valerie Salton-Alford and Sheila Edmond; son, Homer Eric Salton; stepchildren, LaDonna Baldwin, Amanda Bryant, Stacey Bryant and Leo Bryant, III; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
