It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Brentton Olice Walker. Born on November 9, 1985, in Wichita, Kansas, he was the cherished son of the late Sherry Alford-Phillips and Olice “Punchie” Walker Jr.

He received his early education in Benton within the Circle School District and graduated from Wichita Heights High School in 2004. He continued his studies at Hutchinson Community College and Dodge City Community College.

Brentton was employed with King of Freight as a freight broker. He had a passion for sports and recreation, particularly football and shooting pool. He loved the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angelos Lakers. He cherished spending time with his family and friends and traveling.

Brentton departed from this life on September 28, 2025. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew and loved him. Please continue to pray for the family during this difficult time.

He is remembered by his daughters, Brelynn and Livvie Walker; his father, Olice “Punchie” Walker Jr.; his siblings, Brittany Mitchell, Jordan (Lauren) Phillips, and Peerlus Walker; and his bonus father, Ricky Mitchell. He also leaves behind his devoted cousins, Henry and Cherry Davison; nieces, Yonni, Maya, and Maliyah; and nephews, La’Daivion, Ja’Koby, and Malik.

Brentton was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Sherry Alford-Phillips; his grandparents, Willie D. and Irene Alford, and Olice Sr. and Durene Walker; his aunt, Carolynn McGee-Cornelius; and his uncle, Terry Cornelius.

There will be a family visitation on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Jackson Mortuary.
