Mourning Erek L. Williams

The Alford family extends heartfelt condolences to Kyra Williams on the untimely passing of her beloved father, Erek Lee Williams, Sr., and to Kymere Williams-Atchison on the loss of his cherished grandfather.

Erek Lee Williams, Sr. was born on April 14, 1970, in Holdenville, Oklahoma, to Lester and Paulette Williams. He received his formal education at Wewoka High School and then began his career in the oil and gas industry. He was later employed at Tinker until his death.


He married the love of his life, Gisela, on April 16, 1999. Later in life, Erek accepted Christ and became a faithful member of Macedonia Baptist Church.


With a heart full of compassion, Erek was known for countless acts of kindness. Whether in his personal relationships, professional life, or community involvement, he made an impact that cannot be measured by words alone. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched, each enriched by his warmth, wisdom, and selfless nature.

Erek found joy in spending time with his family and helping others in his community. He was truly a jack of all trades,including working as a car salesman. He was a pillar of support to his family, friends, and colleagues. His grandchildren were his pride and joy.


On December 21, 2025, Erek answered the call for his next assignment from our Heavenly Father.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Paulette Williams; his father-in-law, Curtis Beau Loggins; his children, Kevass and Deonte Williams; his brothers, Gerald Nichols and Leondro Starnes; and his brothers-in-law,Winfred and Curtis Loggins.��Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Gisela; his children, Ereka, Erin Sr., Eriel, Kyra, and Tyler, all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Erek Jr. and Daphnee of Wewoka, Oklahoma; and his grandchildren, Terin, Hollison, Erin Jr., Eli, Harmony, Lyric, Kreea, Amara, Brynlee, Kreed, and Kymere. He is also survived by his siblings, Latricia of Spencer, Oklahoma; Paula (Ernest), Leslie (Bernard), Larry (Ronetta), and Bryan (Denise), all of Wewoka, Oklahoma; Johnny Loggins of Weleetka, Oklahoma; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.��Funeral services for Erek Williams will be held on Monday, December 29th at 11:00am at the First Baptist Church of Wewoka in Wewoka, Oklahoma. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 28th from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Macedonia Baptist Church in Wewoka.
