Ka'Deisha Ann Carter

Ka'Deisha Ann Carter was born July 2, 1994, in Irving, Texas to Fredrick DeWayne Carter and Veronica Sessions. She received her pre-school education in the Dallas Independent School District and then attended Arlington Independent School District where she graduated from James Bowie High School in 2012. KaDeisha also attended Tarrant County Community College. She professed her faith in Christ at Mount Olive Baptist Church at an early age where she was baptized, sang in the youth and senior choir, attended Sunday School, attended AWANA and College Orientation worship ministries.


KaDeisha was preceded in death by her mother Veronica Garner in 2002, her grandfathers Robert Session Sr. and Curtis Carter Sr., grandmothers Jessie Lee Carter and Thelma “Big Mama” Cook.


Kadeisha is cherished by her large, blended family. She leaves to mourn two sons Jayden King Grace and Prince Kaiden Grace, her grandmothers Calverta Miller, Merilyn Session, and Gwendolyn Dean, her parents Fred and Dana Carter, Aunt Theresa Ann Johnson, Step-Father Tommie Garner Sr. (Phyllis), siblings, Bryan Byrd Jr. (Hazel), Alecia Rodriguez (Adrian), and Tommie Garner Jr. Dee has two maternal aunts LaDoris Sessions Shavers, LaShandra Session (O’Shay Jones), three paternal aunts Lovetta Watson, Barbara Dedeaux (Donald), Rhonda Williams (Gregory), and one paternal uncle Lonzie Watson Sr. Dee has six nieces Kieanna, Taylor, Cameron, Isabella, Aileigh, and Addileigh and a host of cousins and friends who will miss her loving spirit.


KaDeisha and Jamal Thomspon were recently engaged. Jamal stood faithfully by her side during her hospital stays in the past year. She has fought the sickle cell fight and has the victory in Christ. Fly beautiful, you are free indeed.

Ka’Deisha Ann Carter is the daughter of Dana D. Alfred-Carter & Fredrick D. Carter and Veronica Sessions; Granddaughter of Nathaniel R. Alfred and Gwendolyn A. Dean; Great-Granddaughter of Major “Datey” Alford and Velvet Mitchell-Alfred; and Great-Great-Granddaughter of Matthew Solomon Alford & Minnie Jennings-Alford.
