August 10, 1931 - July 19, 2022
Our family is deeply saddened by the loss of one of our matriarchs, Mattie Lee Lynch. On Tuesday, July 19, 2022, Mattie made her transition to her heavenly home at the age of 90.
Mattie was born in Castle, Oklahoma on August 10, 1931. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a devout member of the Seventh Day Adventist faith. She was educated in Okfuskee County public schools and performed domestic work in the Oklahoma City area. Her family will remember her forwonderful cooking, meticulous gardening, and her green thumb.
Mattie was the youngest of Ida & Emmitt Alford’s seven children, who have all preceded her in death. Mattie was the wife of the late Curtis Lynch, mother of Elizabeth Graves, and raised nephew David Smith as a son, all who have preceded her in death.
Left cherishing her memory are treasured niece’s Ida Smith and Mattie Smith-Sotelo, three grandsons, 15-great-grandchildren, 6-great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
