With profound sadness, the family announces the passing of our beloved Raymond “Ray Gee” Bell, Jr., who departed this life on July 10, 2025, at the age of 43 after a brief illness. Raymond was a devoted son, husband, father, brother, and friend. To know him was to experience genuine kindness, infectious laughter, and a heart that welcomed everyone.

Born in Wichita, Kansas, on March 1, 1982, Raymond was the eldest son of Raymond Bell Sr. and Angyla Roberts. He was educated in the Wichita public schools. He a spiritual man who had a special relationship with Christ.

Raymond had an extraordinary gift for mechanics and was known as a skilled professional and a jack of all trades. No matter the problem, Ray had a solution. He loved music, dancing, and fast cars, but his greatest joy was his family. He was a loving and devoted husband to Alima Jones, and his children, BreAsia Bradshaw, Ray’Lasha Terrell, Sa’Rae Bell, and Rayland Bell were the lights of his life.

He carried the responsibilities of a big brother with grace and strength, often stepping in to care for his siblings while his mother worked multiple jobs. His loyalty, humor, and generous spirit made him a pillar in the lives of all who knew him. Raymond never met a stranger, he greeted everyone with a smile and was always willing to help others, even if it

meant giving the shirt off his back.

Raymond was welcomed into eternal rest by his mother, Angyla Roberts; father, Raymond Bell Sr.; and his grandfather, Pastor Bennie Bell Sr. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy of love, laughter, and loyalty will live on through all those who were blessed to know him.

He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Alima Jones; loving children, BreAsia Bradshaw, Ray’Lasha Terrell, Sa’Rae Bell, and Rayland Bell; grandmother Dinetta Bell; his brothers, Arthur Bryant, Gregory Bell, Andre Bell, Howard Patterson, Princeton Patterson, and Anthony Bell; his sisters, Ruthie Bell, Laquitta Bell-Parker, Braunte Bell, and Rayshon Hughes; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and cherished friends.
