Mourning Candice B. Brown

Sunrise December 12, 1972 ~ Sunset March 31, 2023

It is with overwhelming sadness that we share news of the passing of Candice Bouviere Brown. Candice passed away unexpectedly on March 31, 2023 in her Oklahoma City home. She was 50 years old.

To know her was to love her. Candice had a tremendous love for her entire family. Her three children were her hearts joy and she beamed with pride whenever she spoke about them. But nothing brought her greater joy than her seven grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with them and showering them with her love.

A true queen, Candice loved the majestic color purple. Her personality was large, her laughter was infectious, and her faith was deep. Candice loved the delicate nature and beautiful color hummingbirds. She was drawn to them because they shared similar qualities.

She is preceded in death by her mother Lillian Patton, father Charles Brown and sister Charlotte L. Brown.

Cherishing her memory are her sons, Tramon Brown and Zavion Brown, Sr.; daughter, Aviance Brown; brothers, twin Cameron Samuels-Brown, Areko Patton and Roderick Samuels (Sharlette); grandchildren Marcellus, Amere, Zavion, Dakarai, Joseph, Sevin and Aviairae; and a host of aunts, uncle, cousins and friends.
