Family we share news of the passing of our beloved family member, Doll B. Kennedy-Bly. She was called into glory on July 30, 2021 at the age of 86.
Doll was a longtime resident of Phoenix, Arizona. Family was the center of Doll’s world and she was always present and cheering them on through each life accomplishment. She found great pleasure spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her presence and support will also be missed at Alford family reunions.
Doll was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Dr. Annie Bell Alford-Taylor.
Left cherishing her memory are her husband Joseph Bly; daughters, Sandra Kennedy (Memie Burton, MD) and Sheila Saddler (Terence); sister, Erma J. Alford-Emery; aunt, Violet J. Alford-Patterson; grandsons, Shawn Auston Johnston (Chelsea) and Seth Kennedy; granddaughters, Mahogany Kennedy (Bryant), Shaunte Denise Cheatham, Shaquell Saddler and Amber L. Kennedy; five great granddaughters; two great grandsons; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and cherished friends.
